FAMILY ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST

People Incorporated of Virginia is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Family Engagement Specialist at our Bristol Head Start Center. The position is responsible for the provision of direct education and support services to families enrolled in Home-Based and Center-Based options; conducts outreach and recruitment for all program options; plans for and provides monthly group meetings with families; maintains an active waitlist for enrollment. Performs regular data entry and manages documentation. Experience working with families or clients preferred; organizational and time management skills are required. A Home Visiting Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or equivalent credential is required; an Associate degree or higher in related field is preferred.
