Job Title:
PeopleSoft Administrator – AWS / DevOps
Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Administrator to lead and manage AWS-hosted PeopleSoft environments. This role is infrastructure-first and focuses on AWS administration, operating system management, CI/CD automation, and production support. The ideal candidate will own the stability, security, and performance of PeopleSoft platforms running on AWS and respond quickly to system issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage AWS infrastructure supporting PeopleSoft environments
- Administer and maintain EC2 instances, VPCs, subnets, security groups, and networking
- Perform Linux/Unix system administration, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation
- Automate environment provisioning and configuration using Terraform, scripts, or similar tools
- Plan and execute application and system upgrades
- Monitor environments and provide on-call production support
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, OS, middleware, and PeopleSoft platform issues
- Ensure high availability, security, and operational stability of environments
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure administration
- Solid Linux/Unix system administration background
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (infra-focused)
- Experience maintaining and patching production systems
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft administration (App Server, Web Server, Scheduler, environments)
- Scripting experience (Shell / Python preferred)
- Experience with environment upgrades and release planning
- Ability to respond to and resolve production issues quickly.
Nice to Have:
- Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code experience
- Prior experience supporting PeopleSoft on AWS
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
