What are the responsibilities and job description for the CHORE WORKER position at PeopleInc?
Hourly Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00
Supports cluster services provided under the Erie County Senior Services contract by providing laundry, light housekeeping and light shopping/errands for senior program participants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Remaining sensitive to their needs, provides seniors with understanding, human contact.
- Provides assistance for participant with vacuuming, dusting, mopping, laundry, meal preparation, periodic cleaning of appliances, and light shopping/errands (2 bag maximum).
- Completes Chore Time Sheet Checklist for each client who receives service.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- NYS Driver’s License that meets agency policy.
