Assembler

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent Heating and Air manufacturer in the Buena Vista, VA area, is seeking assemblers to join their team. This facility is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401k, personal time, vacation and profit sharing.
Assembler- Job Summary:

• $16.00 per hour
• 1st shift is 5am-1:30pm
• 2nd shift 1:30pm to Midnight
• Assembly of units using various hand tools
• Assembles units on moving conveyors with various part sizes to include panels of sheet metal, fans, motors & wiring.
• Must keep up w/pace of line and recording of time
• Cutting wire, attaching terminals, sawing, deburring aluminum tubing and building power assemblies

Assembler- Qualifications:

• Be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires reading, writing, adding, subtracting, ability to operate powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks and follow instructions.
