Truss Assembler

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent Truss Assembly facility located in Romeo, Michigan. Our team is in search of candidates to fill general laborer positions. The ideal candidate will be able to work first shift, lift up to 75 pounds and have the ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions.

Stacker Job Summary:

. 1st shift (6am – 4pm)

· Stacking the trusses as they come off the line.

· Checking the placement on the trusses top and bottom as they come off the line.

· Lining the trusses up on the heels to check and make sure the chords are lining up straight.

· Checking the member-to-member gaps to make sure they are in the compliance.

· Banding the job once it is complete to be moved.

· Keeping the stacking area clean and free of any trip hazards.

· Additional duties that may be added daily.

Stacker Requirements:

· Able to read numbers/tape measurements

· Able to lift up to 50-75lbs multiple times a day

· Able to drive a nail multiple times a day

· Able to work at a consistent pace to meet production needs.

· Able to work in heat and cold to outside work conditions.
