POSITION SUMMARY
The Loan Administrator is responsible for managing communication with loan officers and other loan representatives by providing loan processing assistance during and after loan closing. Clear and concise communication is vital and can only come from a good working relationship across the organization.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Computer proficiency and comfortable using technology, especially loan software system.
- Strong communication, organizational skills and able to react to change productively.
- Service existing customer relationships by providing Banking Officer assistance in all aspects of Portfolio Management/Credit Quality and new business development.
- Process loan advances, loan payments, payoffs, account transfers and any other client requests in a timely manner.
- Track and update insurance coverage(s) on loans.
- Assist with the tracking/collection of client information and monitoring past dues and renewals.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan set-up/renewal information on the loan system.
- Work closely with loan operations on timely loan closings.
- Recognizes and adheres to compliance with all bank consumer regulations and laws including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.
- Exemplify the highest levels of professional integrity and ethical standards and represent the bank in a positive manner at all times, inside and outside of the workplace.
- Proficient in multi-tasking in a team environment focused on the high standards of service.
- Performs other duties as requested.
- May require occasional travel for training or to provide coverage at other bank locations.
