This is a full-time salaried position providing a structured, “earn and learn” apprenticeship experience including formal learning, on-the-job training, and on-going coaching to help build skills with the opportunity to advance into a career with a professional services company at the end of the 12-months or stay on with PeopleShores.
Seeking candidates without a US 4-year college degree who are curious, creative, detail oriented and collaborative. This position requires you to be in person.
What type of work might be in a typical day?
Learn cyber security skills to make systems resilient against cyber risks.
Investigating attacks against customer networks.
Writing, reviewing, and conveying findings of investigations around security events, threat actors, or new vulnerabilities.
Performing troubleshooting on a range of general technical IT and security issues related to networking or security infrastructure.
Monitor account activities to maintain client data protection, threats, detections, response actions and information security standards.
Serve account teams and business groups through proactive monitoring, managing, and reporting on execution of project deliverables.
Work with project team members to help clients proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats.
Promote data-driven decisions and design solutions to meet business needs.

Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
Preferred) Qualifications :
Completed a Technical bootcamp or possess a technical certification (CompTIA Security , CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA, SANS GIAC, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Training in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C, C , C#, SQL, Python, etc.)
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products
Typically, less than 6 months of relevant technical work experience
