We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Food Service Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering food products to various clients, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and interacting with customers.
Qualifications
- Experience in Customer Service and Food & Beverage
- Valid Class D TN driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 80lb)
- English speaking proficiency
- Spanish speaking proficiency (preferred but not required)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Operate a 26' box truck with refrigeration in a safe and responsible manner.
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Unload goods from the vehicle with electric pallet jacks and hand dolleys
- Monitor reefer temperatures to maintain the freshness and quality of perishable products.
- Interact professionally with clients upon delivery and address inquiries and concerns, providing information about products and services when necessary.
- Communicate any delivery challenges, inventory shortages, or damages to the operations team for documentation and resolution.
- Receive and document customer payments.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer information.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
