What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator Can Line Filler B Shift position at PepsiCo Beverages North America?
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Operate the filler, sbo, capper, Filtec, warmer, blender and associated equipment as instructed in SOP, including performing all required quality checks.
- Track and record equipment and Line downtime information
- Perform Line Checks, which may include but are not limited to:
- Thermal system set point
- Fill weights
- Bottle temps at filling and after cooling
- Pull up torques and tamper band check
- Rinser set point
- Start up, flavor change, and extensive downtime brix checks
- Start up and flavor change sensory
- CIP concentrations
- Bottle code accuracy
- Challenge Filtec bottle rejection system
- Closure and Bottle data entry in Infinity
- Closure and Bottle routine inspections
- Perform cap application checks
- Perform Operators related PMs on equipment
- Maintain 100% compliance with HACCP and AIB standards.
- Trouble-shoot and complete minor adjustments on equipment.
- Review and verify Filler Chart is working by performing check at required frequency
- Perform minor machine maintenance activities as required.
- Perform Sanitation of the filler and associated equipment according to sanitation schedule.
- Enter QA checks and Sanitation records in IQS or similar system
- Demonstrate ownership of the job and add to the success of the team
- Participate on a Natural Work Team
- Support TPM activities through participation on TPM team and completing required paperwork (CIL, CL, etc.)

Qualifications:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Able to communicate, read, and write in English lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis work in a safe and controlled manner and comply with GMPs, Standards of Conduct, and Company Policies and be flexibility to work off-shifts as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
- Perform basic calculator functions
- Manage basic computer applications and HMI
- Person awarded this bid will need to be self-directed in the completion of daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Must not have been on a DAR in the last 6 months
- Handwriting must be legible
