What are the responsibilities and job description for the Configuration Manager position at Peraton?
Responsibilities
- Manages Configuration Items (CIs) across the IT Service Lifecycle, ensuring CIs are identified, baselined, maintained, and changes to CIs are controlled.
- Ensure formally approved software releases into controlled environments are completed as scheduled.
- Maintain a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capable of holding information on all CIs including attributes and the relationships between CIs.
- Maintain the Configuration Management Plan which establishes the framework for identifying, controlling, reporting on, and auditing CIs.
- Maintain and updating CM policy, plans and procedures through the Configuration Management Plan.
- Maintaining a Definitive Media Library (DML) for hardware and software.
- Define and create CM audit reports, as needed.
Qualifications
- BA/BS and 8 years of experience; Masters and 6 years; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Minimum 5 years of baseline Configuration Management experience across a large-scale enterprise Information Technology (IT) program.
- Demonstrated experience in identification, baselining, maintaining, and controlling changes to IT enterprise assets.
- ITILv4 Foundation Certification required

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
