Company Overview:
A senior assisted living community located in Slingerlands, NY, is seeking a full Dining Services Director to plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct all aspects of the dining services department.
Dining Service Director Responsibilities:
- Menu and menu cycles
- Food preparation and presentation
- Kitchen cleanliness
- Dining room appearance
- Staff training and responsiveness
- Maintaining compliance with all Department of Health and regulatory state codes
- Establishment of staff work schedules
- Department budgets
- Equipment inspections
- Provide in-service education with an overall working knowledge of total quality management and continuous quality improvement.
Dining Service Director Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years food service and staff management experience
- Proven track record in quality, presentation of meals and cost containment.
- Minimum two-year degree in hotel/restaurant management or food service administration management.
