What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Perfect Smile Dental?
Well-established General Dentist located in Pittsburgh, PA (Forest Hills) is looking for a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team.
Candidate will work efficiently and would provide a positive experience for our patients.
You should also have strong patient skills, be well-organized, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist dentist chairside during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Prepare and break down operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient visit
- Assist in maintaining dental supply inventory
- Take xrays (must be xray certified)

Compensation is competitive based on experience!
This is a full-time, Monday through Thursday schedule, with some exceptions.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday
- No nights
- No weekends
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Ability to provide highquality patient care
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Dental Assistant certification preferred
License/Certification:
- Current radiography certification required
