About the role
Responsible for providing support for the Fiserv Premier core banking software and support for the operations of the Banks. This role acts as an escalation point for issues concerning the Fiserv Premier core banking platform and ancillary applications. This role researches issues, proposes solutions, and acts as a subject matter expert for the Fiserv software.
Position can be located in Sioux Falls or Pierre, SD.
What you will do
- Supports the Fiserv Premier core banking software, including managing day-to-day tasks, as well as administering updates/patches.
- Troubleshoots and resolves a wide range of application-related issues, including software errors, configuration issues, data inconsistencies, and performance problems.
- Provides support to the operations of the banks. This may include document imaging or operations projects.
- Documents help tickets and responds to end-users in a professional manner, while maintaining help tickets assigned to them.
- Monitors application performance and identifies potential issues proactively.
- Implements and tests updates/patches for Fiserv Premier core ancillary applications.
- Develops and coordinates training programs to educate staff on best practices within subject matter area.
- Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures and ensures proper handling of sensitive information.
- Maintains professionalism in interaction with others including Data Center clients and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in computer science or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting banking systems and/or operations, with a focus on Fiserv Core banking systems (Premier, Director, Payment Exchange, etc.) required.
- Proficiency in Fiserv System Administration and year-end processes and Unisys platforms.
