Performance Composites is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Planner Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for an employees interested in team-based manufacturing and a willingness to learn. Each step of our process is highly critical to the success of the project overall, making attention to detail, commitment to the duration of the project, and consistency is essential.
Main Purpose
Administer the processing of customer purchase orders to ensure they are correct, compliant, and visible in our production system. –(ERP)
This position will have to have a detailed understanding of the scheduling process. The data entries must reflect the jobs in a manner that matches the production capabilities. Including understanding the process of creating Bills or Materials as well as routers and job travelers.
Administer customer purchase orders for Compton & Reno
- Input & schedule all new customer orders
- Input all customer order changes & updates
- Confirm all orders (new/changes) back to customers
- Generate CRP documentation
- Log/file all orders in database
- For customer cover sets – create PN’s, BOM’s , routings
Customer Service
- Schedule & attend meetings w/ customers as needed
- Resolve any issues related to orders, scheduling, information, etc
- Customers’ main POC for production related issues
- Prompt customers when orders are not being released
- Provide OOR feedback as needed
- Interface with M.E. / Production Mgrs/ Materials Mgr/ Sales/ and other internal customers
Additional Tasks
- Create & update customer master schedule for covers
- Maintain the customers paint part number file in the ERP system
- Prepare for monthly WIP inventory (Compton)
- 12 week order release horizon
- Support customer forms (debarrment, Buy America, SDS’s, material content, etc
- Review the “Unbilled Shipment Summary” report and update as needed
- Maintain customer accounts in the ERP system for address changes, new contacts, etc.
- Maintain employee data in ERP system
- Other tasks as assigned
Required
_ Education: Must be an H. S. /GED grad. - Degree a plus_
Must have worked in a Plant manufacturing environment for a minimum of 5 years
Must have proven proficiency with ERP systems – Job Boss a plus
