Job Description
We Deliver the Goods:
Pay range is dependent on experience $75,000 - $85,000 bonus potential
The Safety Manager is responsible for working with management to establish a safe work environment for all Employees.
Responsible for ensuring compliance of all governmental & company safety programs.
Manage and direct all worker's compensation, vehicle accident/insurance, and all product liability claims. Responsible for reducing liability/financial exposure.
Direct liaison with corporate for all programs.
Establish, execute and deliver NorthCenter specific plans that support PFG's overall safety objectives.
Required Qualifications
Develop interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust, both internally and externally. Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers/vendors and coworkers.
Preferred Qualifications
3 - 5 years Warehousing, Transportation or Distribution Safety Management

Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, ANSI, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA guidance and regulations.
- Ability to professionally design and present training to small and large groups of EEs.
- Proficient skills with MS Office suite - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365.
- Ability to quickly learn various custom software applications.
- Ability to analyze data and produce corrective action plans/training to reduce injuries and accidents.
- Demonstrates professional demeanor that engenders confidence amongst management and line EEs. High level of confidentiality required.
- Work Schedule primarily normal office hours, however, must be available to work split shift at least twice a week as workload requires. Some weekend work may be needed depending on business need.
Preferred Qualifications
3 - 5 years Warehousing, Transportation or Distribution Safety Management
- CSP, CSHT, CIH and/or CSHM (among other safety and health certifications)
