Position Details
- Perform a variety of business office activities necessary to bill all appropriate third-party payers for services rendered at Perham Health.
- Reviewing, auditing, correcting and submitting of insurance claims.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and denials to ensure proper reimbursement for services
- Routinely monitor Accounts Receivable aging and work queues to ensure all accounts are addressed and handled in a timely and appropriate manner.
What you Offer
- Post-secondary education or equivalent training in a healthcare or business related field is required.
- Previous experience in healthcare billing is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and display excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to pass background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Service.
- Must be able to utilize all office equipment and application software..
Schedule
- Full time; 80 hours per biweekly pay period.
- Monday-Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
