What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Paraprofessional position at Perkiomen Valley Skippack Elementary?
The Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking a learning support instructional paraprofessional to support students at Skippack Elementary School. This is a full-time, 10-month position which includes paid time off (personal and sick days) and is eligible for full benefits (medical, prescription, dental, and vision). The hours for this position are 8:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position is available immediately.
Purpose of Position
At the direction of the principal and/or supervisor of special education, assists teachers by performing a variety of tasks that promote student learning and well-being. Works individually and in small groups with students to reinforce instruction, monitor performance, and support learning. This position also performs a variety of instructional and classroom management supports.
Terms of Employment
- Full-time (7.5 hours/day); 10 months
Compensation
The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 in accordance with terms of the Perkiomen Valley Educational Support Personnel Association Collective Bargaining Agreement
