Job Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and recording of patient care.
- Teach, delegate, and supervise other nursing staff in the provision of care.
- Coordinate services with other members of the healthcare team to provide complex patient care.
- Practice within the scope of the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act and Person Memorial Hospital policies/procedures/standards.
Requirements
- Delegates care based on the needs of the patients or staff competency/qualifications.
- Communicates with Manager and other healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner.
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE NURSING DIPLOMA PROGRAM OR AN ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE IN NURSING FROM AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL IS REQUIRED.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
This position does float to different departments within the hospital. Reports to: Director of Nursing.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
