Requirements:
- Licenses/Certifications: Possess a current state pesticide technician certification/license, such as a California Applicator or Field Representative license. Additional certifications may be required and trained for, based on specific job duties.
- Experience: Licensed Technicians preferably should possess 6 months to one year of relevant experience in the field.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (With proficiency in Spanish considered a plus but not required.)
- Background Check: Successfully pass a background check.
- Professionalism: Maintain a presentable, clean appearance.
- Time Management: Demonstrate strong time management and task prioritization skills.
- Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting weights ranging from 20 to 50 lbs. Comfortable with extended periods of walking, crawling, standing, or sitting. Able to maneuver through attics and crawlspaces.
- Transportation: Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of buildings and the surrounding environment for any signs of infestation
- Effectively communicate discovered issues to customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Utilize operating software on a phone or tablet for scheduling and tracking job details.
- Respond to customer inquiries professionally and knowledgeably.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of pests and remediation methods.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols when dealing with potentially hazardous materials
- Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to maintain detailed records of payment and chemicals used
- Exhibit proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Active listening ability to understand and address customer concerns effectively.
- Apply critical thinking skills to assess pest issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in inspections, record-keeping, and treatment processes.
- Possess the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues effectively.
- Compensation: We offer a competitive compensation plan which includes $18 Per hour Percentage of days route the ability to earn further commissions!
