Schedule: 4 Day Work Week-exact schedule will be determined during interview process
Shift start time: 5:30am until work is complete
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate reporting of inventory through cycle counts and quality control verification.
Essential Functions/Requirements:
- Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments
- Review spreadsheets to locate new products that will be arriving in the facility
- Slot items and maintain correct minimum and maximum pick amounts based on the type and velocity of the product
- Assist departments with quality control issues including: out-of-date product, new minimum and maximum pick amounts and products affected by manufacturer defects
- Prepare product to be distributed for close-out based on specific reports
- Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations including GMP guidelines
- Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude
- Must have experience working with a WMS for Inventory Control purposes
Experience/Skills
- Equipment experience required: electric pallet jack, high reach and cherry picker
- Candidate must have the ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers
- Excellent verbal and written communication and follow up skills
- Extraordinary attention to detail and good time-management
- Independent problem solving skills
- Work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills, Google preferred
- Experience with INFOR, preferred
