Material Handler

Keep track of products, making sure they arrive at the right location, logging inventory, ensuring all parts are intact, recorded and entered in the database.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for upholding ownership’s business philosophies and strategies, both internal and external to the company

· Counts Inventory items in warehouse and records data gathered

· Looks for any discrepancies in quantities present to inventory records

· Inventory tagging, organization, placement

· Stock inspection for defects or damage

· Stocks all parts from received deliveries

· Order fulfillment for shop assemblies

· Assemble containers and crates, pack parts to be shipped and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions

· Oversee loading and unloading of the parts on trucks, etc.

· Inspect and verify incoming parts against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods

· Unpack and route parts to appropriate storage areas

· May operate forklift or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store parts.

Experience and Education Requirements

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Analytical, customer service and problem solving skills

· Detailed oriented

· Knowledge of basic computer skills and arithmetic

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications

· Experience in inventory control within the manufacturing and/or electrical industry

· Accurate data entry skills

· Previous warehouse experience

· Ability to work under high stress

Physical Requirements

· Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs

· Able to stand for an extended period of time, Bend and reach overhead occasionally.

Additional Info

· Shift M-F 7:00-3:30

· Overtime as Required.
