Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and vehicles to support construction and maintenance projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, including Skid Steers, Dozers, Excavators, and dump trucks.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, loading, and transporting materials
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar environment
- Proficient in operating equipment such as cranes, bulldozers, dump trucks, water trucks, and tankers
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing, sitting, and operating heavy machinery
