Currently offering up to a $15,000 sign on bonus for qualifying Full Time RN's.
Acts as patient advocate during the Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy Procedure by implementing a plan to protect them from injury, wrong site surgery and infection. Coordinates the patient's care between providers and hospital staff. Supports the patient's physical and emotional needs, while assisting the physician. Documents care provided accurately and completely, including interventions, equipment, and supplies.
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Required Technical Skills:
Current nursing assessment and patient care skills, ability to communicate effectively, ability to master new skills.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Knowledge of all phases of perioperative care; Meditech experience
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Texas license as a Registered Nurse, Certified in Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Required Experience:
One year experience as a RN in a hospital or outpatient environment
Preferred Experience:
One year experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Endoscopy Center
