The Peterson School has been teaching the trades since 1946 with locations in Woburn, Westwood, Worcester and Haverhill Massachusetts. We are in search of a part time Sheet Metal Instructor.
The ideal candidate will have a Massachusetts Master Sheet Metal License and at least 5 years experience in the sheet metal fabrication/ installation trade. A Massachusetts Sheet metal instructors license is a big plus.
No teaching experience. we will train the right person.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Licensed Technician
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal systems and components
- Experience working with apprentices or trainees
- Ability to communicate sometimes very technical information to students with little or no experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $34.26 - $39.85 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
Experience:
- Sheet metal: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Massachusetts Sheet Metal License (Required)
