Position Summary

Our Senior Product Development Engineers are essential to driving business growth through the development of sophisticated turbomachinery control solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Engineer to contribute to our growth and maintain our position as an industry leader. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in control system design/definition, and engineering analysis, ensuring the successful execution & management of complex projects.
Essential Functions:
- Develop software applications on various platforms using standard IEC-61131 programming languages (Structured Text, Function Block Diagrams, Ladder Logic).
- Participate in all phases of the product management & development cycle, including algorithm design, software development, testing and startup.
- Utilize engineering simulation tools (such as SimSci and purpose-built tools) to evaluate control system strategies and performance.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in control systems design, programming, and/or commissioning.
- Programming Experience in at least one of the IEC standard control system languages.
- Experience in development project management.
Skills & Attributes:
- Self-motivated and able to lead a part or full project independently with minimal supervision.
Location: Houston, TX or New Orleans, LA
Schedule: 8-hour shift
Compensation: commensurate with experience Bonus Plan
