Process Technician
Summary:
As a Process Technician at Pfizer in Andover, MA, you will play a crucial role in the Biopharmaceutical manufacturing process. You will be responsible for applying your knowledge and skills to ensure the smooth operation of procedures, tools, and equipment while maintaining Pfizer's high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply fundamental knowledge and skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment needed for the position
- Complete routine tasks consisting of a series of prescribed steps within the agreed timeframe
- Identify and solve routine problems that involve the direct application of skills/knowledge in a structured environment
- Learn and be accountable for adhering to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values
- Identify process issues as needed
- Consult with others to ensure the quality of judgment
- Support groups including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Validation, Tech Transfer, and Quality Engineering
- Solve problems regarding site assessment and specific units used in Biopharmaceutical manufacturing
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- A minimum of 0-3 years of experience in a related role
- Basic mechanical knowledge and experience in using hand tools preferred
- Manufacturing experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) or another regulated environment preferred
- Requires the moving of heavy equipment and the ability to lift ~50 pounds
- Ability to retain detailed knowledge of the operational equipment
- Ability to express ideas into SOPs, MFRs, and be able to use a multitude of programs including Microsoft Words, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong team effectiveness and communication skills
- Ability to manage own time and professional development and be accountable for results
- Demonstrated receptiveness to new processes and ideas
Rate/Schedule:
- $18 - $21 per hour
- This is a fully onsite role in Andover, MA
- Rotating 2nd shift:
- 1 week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday; 2:00 PM - 2:00 AM
- 2nd week - Monday, Thursday, Friday; 2:00 PM - 2:00 AM

This job posting is for a temporary role as an employee of Atrium on assignment at Pfizer. The individual selected for this role will be offered the role as an employee of Atrium; compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment shall be presented by Atrium upon offer. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on several factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
