This Evening Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly working environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the facility
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Dust, wipe and sanitize all surfaces
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Assist with set up and clean up for various office functions (as needed)
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment and restocking
- Maintain exterior entry ways of the building
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Experience
· At least one-year previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred
· Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
· Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
· Reliable transportation to commute to the work location
· Demonstrated stable work history
