Pharmaceutical Technical Writer – Onsite in Lititz or Fort Washington PA at least 3 days per week
Primary responsibilities include the following:
· Managing, updating, and executing the site's plan to revise procedures to support the deployment of a new Enterprise Resource Planning application.
· Updating documents requiring minor changes, including removal of prior system nomenclature, references, etc.
· Updating documents requiring major changes, including new process steps and screen shots.
· Collaborating with and/or interviewing process owners/SMEs to execute all updates.
· Updating SOP Curricula as applicable.
· Updating OJT based on new process steps as required.
· Converting documents to new templates as necessary.
· Uploading and routing documents in the document control system per approval flows.
· Tracking document updates and following up with SMEs to ensure timely completion of documentation and approvals.
· Collaborating with Training Representative/Document Controller to define training material requirements and complete the Training Assessment Form (TAF).
· Supporting development/update of Training material and classes.
Additional responsibilities may include the following:
· Tracking document training and assembling into reports .
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing/Technical Communication with a minimum of 3 years of Technical Writing experience OR 5 years Technical Writing experience
· Superior written and verbal communications skills
· Excellent command of the English language and grammatical application thereof
· Keen attention to detail
· Highly organized
· Proficient with MS Word, including using styles and formatting tables
· Proficient with MS Outlook and Teams
· Familiar with SharePoint and electronic document management systems
· Able to multi-task and quickly adjust to changing priorities without sacrificing quality or timely task completion
Preferred Experience
- 3-5 years Technical Writing experience in a Pharmaceutical or Healthcare environment.
- Experience documenting computer systems for end users.
- Demonstrated competency supporting large projects with multiple deliverables within compressed timelines.
