Pharmko is a TPN compounding pharmacy / DME located in Lawrence, NY. We are seeking a full-time Intake / Billing Coordinator to join our team.
Job Responsibilities :
The Intake / Billing Coordinator creates, edits and maintains documentation in all stages of the intake and billing process including
Recording and tracking referrals
Filing intake forms and documentation
Entering patient and insurance information in database, and uploading documentation
Verifying insurance eligibility
Submitting and following up on Prior Authorization Requests, and entering approved authorizations in billing software
Preparing paperwork and getting signatures
Creating sales orders in billing software
Updating Work in Progress status for each order
Documenting shipping information for each order
Entering refills in billing software
Analyzing billing issues and making necessary updates
Preferred - experience in DME or Home Infusion
Preferred- experience in Bright Tree, Life File
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Expertise with insurance and authorization, and understanding of claims adjudication process
Welcoming and pleasant demeaner to speak to referral sources and staff
Organizational skills
Ability to work in different software and monitor different software
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
Accurate in data entry
Willingness to carry out any duties as requested
A team player
Salary : $25 / hour
