What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at PharmLabs LLC?
The PharmLabs brand is a rapidly expanding DEA and ISO 17025 accredited scientific analytical testing laboratories specializing in cannabis, hemp, mushroom, supplements, nutraceutical, food nutrition and FDA labeling. PharmLabs scientifically tests purity and potency of products using GC, HPLC and Mass Spectrometry to ensure product safety and State/Federal legal compliance. We are looking for a laboratory Technician to join the lab team that has a high attention for detail and able to prepare testing samples for analytical instrument runs.

Core Responsibilities:
- Sample preparation including homogenizing, solvent extractions and dilutions.
- Understands and adheres to strict PharmLabs' Standard Operating Procedures regarding compliance and quality testing of products;
- Complies with and supports continuous improvement of the ISO 17025 accredited laboratory Quality Management System;
- Conducts analytical laboratory investigations, experiments and/or research activities, applies statistical techniques to validate methods, analyzes testing data, and prepares a report of findings;
- Utilizes solvent extraction, solid phase extraction and sample preparation techniques for testing analysis.
- Adds internal standards, prepares quality control samples, and conducts other quality control functions;
- Performs system suitability checks, preventive maintenance, and calibrates analytical instrumentation.
- Processes, organizes and summarizes data and computerized results of analysis through the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS);
- Consults with the Laboratory Director to develop and implement new laboratory methods, techniques, and protocols;
- Assists Laboratory Director with special studies in sample preparation;
- Prepares and conducts quality checks on laboratory equipment;
- Assists in the security and cleanliness of laboratory and equipment;
- Conducts supply inventory to ensure availability of consumable laboratory materials;
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year lab experience
- MUST have a positive attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
