What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at PHB?
PHB, Inc. Machining Division is currently looking for CNC Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Schedule:
- 2nd shift- 3pm-11pm, Monday- Friday
- 3rd shift- 11pm-7am Sunday- Thursday
Position Responsibilities:
- Handle castings made of zinc and aluminum
- Load parts into the CNC machines, properly secure it with hydraulics, and start the cycle
- Visually inspect all parts
- Inspect parts using micrometer, calipers, and gages
- Complete at-machine documentation
- Proper usage of grinders and other hand tools, as needed
- Perform tool changes
- Read/understand basic machine programs
- Ability to read blueprints
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of CNC machine equipment, tooling, and processes
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
