General Summary
Human Resources Coordinator performs various functions of the Human Resources department including front desk responsibilities and assists with projects as directed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in completion of appropriate forms necessary for processing of new hires and transfers, scans and indexes employee information.
- Assists with onboarding new employees (badges and collecting documentation) and setting up orientation.
- Responsible for follow up with new employees regarding orientation and documentation required.
- Insures all backgrounds and other required screenings are completed prior to first day of orientation.
- Assists recruiters with effective and timely communication with applicants as needed.
- Conducts personnel updates or changes and employment verifications as requested.
- Assists with all recruitment needs as requested.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma required. Associates Degree in Business Administration or related degree preferred.
Work Experience
A working knowledge of Human Resources practices as would normally be acquired through a minimum of two years' administrative experience in Human Resources or related area.
Certification/License
aPHR preferred
Mental/Physical Requirements
High levels of communication skills, interpersonal skills, concentration, attention to detail, ability to process and interpret diverse information while working simultaneously on several projects. Must be able to handle stressful situations. Must be able to transport self throughout the facility. Must be able to lift or carry up to 10lbs.
Working Conditions
Standard office conditions.
