Summary
12 hour shifts, A/B rotating schedule, (3) days one week, (4) days the next. Openings (1) days 7am to 7:30pm or (1) nights 7pm to 7:30am
The Trainer is primarily responsible for training production employees with procedural, safety, and company policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Recommends and enforces department safety requirements
- Participate and collaborate with the coordinators, leads, and supervisors on organizing training for all new hires and recommended retraining.
- Lead, organize and initiate Standard Operation Procedures writing to ensure continuity and uniformity in the department.
- Completes forklift certifications/ recertification and training for employees
- Creates/Organizes and maintains SOP Database in relation to department training in collaboration with managers/supervisors.
- Coordinates and leads the training and onboarding of new employees and ensure retraining as needed of current employees.
- Coordinates with Manager when facility repairs are needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Skills
Ability to read, write and interpret documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Ability to speak with vendors in a professional manner. Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions.
