The Instrument Technician, Bartlesville Facilities will work on a variety of Instrumentation including, but not limited to, the following:

Rosemount and Honeywell pressure transmitters

Eurotherm temperature controllers and related thermocouples

Micromotion flow meters

Siemens Maxum analyzers

Cosa BTU analyzers

General H2S and hydrocarbon detectors

Honeywell and Delta V control systems

Some of the processes involved use hazardous and volatile materials under high pressure and temperature. Instrument Technicians are exposed to various work conditions including outside weather and elements, blowing air, heat, noise, vibration and occasionally working from heights and in confined spaces. Instrument Technicians must follow safe work practices including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities May Include:
Installation of process instrumentation equipment

Troubleshooting instrumentation problems

Calibration of process instrumentation

Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Valid driver's license

Prior work experience with electrical test equipment

Prior work experience in process instrumentation

Willingness and ability, with or without a reasonable accommodation, to perform/comply with the following:

To work overtime

To work as a member of a team

To work in industrial process areas

To lift a minimum of 50 pounds

To work around chemicals, including acids and bases

To wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection and respirator/face mask)

To work outside in harsh weather conditions

To learn computer software associated with process operations

Preferred Qualifications:
Oklahoma State electrical license

Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics or process instrumentation

Experience dealing with fire and security systems

3 years of experience with Hart and Honeywell calibration equipment
