Job Overview:
Responsible for overseeing the clinical department including hiring, and supervision. This position provides both clinical and personal supervision of the clinical staff. Must have the ability to think globally, solve problems and have good clinical decision-making skills, which includes critical thinks. Develop, plan, and implement strategies for programs continuation and growth. Provide clinical training to clinical staff, interns and must have a positive and supportive attitude toward the agency and its overall success.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate program planning, delivery of treatment services and other related activities based on philosophy, goals, and objectives of the program. Supervise and oversee all aspects of the clinical department following the agency mission demonstrated by setting departmental goals and objective.
Skills:
Thorough knowledge of polydrug use and treatment modalities, especially crack cocaine, mental health issues and the recovery process. Ability to use therapeutic skills essential to assisting residents in process of recovery.
Experience:
Recruitment of clinical interns conduct outreach and maintain working relationships with graduate schools. Ability to address clinical issues at all hours. Implement recovery process for residents as defined by Interim House West program goals and philosophy.
Education Requirement:
Master’s degree and 3-5 years related experience or bachelor’s degree and four years experience specifically related to the position.
