Skills crucial to success in this role:
- Responsible for the administration and management of the personal care facility including 1) the health, safety, and well being of the residents, 2) implementation of policies and procedures, and 3) compliance with related regulations.
- Proficient interpersonal and communicative skills; knowledge of the social, psychological and recreational needs and abilities of older adults.
- Comply with applicable laws, rules and DPW regulations to ensure successful surveys in personal care.
- Coordinate and oversee appropriate levels of care in personal care; communicate changes to appropriate parties.
- Evaluate and plan for services and programs of resident care in light of the identified needs of the resident population.
- Attend and actively participate in corporate and campus leadership meetings; implement and communicate resulting procedural changes, directives, etc.; conduct staff meetings.
- Maintains positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, members, family members and facility personnel
Education and Experience:
- Current Pennsylvania PCH Administrator license required.
- Current valid PA Driver’s license.
- Licensed LPN, RN; Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business or other related field.
- Minimum of three years experience in Personal Care Home or Assisted Living required.
- Knowledge of the Personal Care Home Regulations including Fire Safety regulations
- At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Teamwork, flexibility, excellent customer service, etc.
- Advanced computer skills
