We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Test Engineer IV.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Test Engineer IV reports up through the Engineering Management team and performs prototype development, independent verification and validation, simulation and modeling, quality assurance, and physical testing of the product or system. The Test Engineer adheres to the program’s established CMMI processes. Additionally, this position will be assigned other projects or tasks in alignment with the level and scope of the position.
- Provide functional expertise necessary to interpret requirements, ensure responsiveness and achieve successful performance.
- Provide expertise in subject matter and technical knowledge.
- Assist engineering staff with the analysis, evaluation and implementation of systems and other engineering tasks.
- Develop and review test procedures for the newly developed functional capabilities.
- Perform functional and regression testing on the target baseline and create tickets on the findings.
- Mentor junior test engineers on the subject matter, testing methods and principles.
- Consult with system engineers and management on subject matter of simulated capabilities.
- Provide Tier 2 helpdesk support (remote and onsite)
- Provide onsite support to technical and functional staff during training exercises Evaluate client interface ensuring efforts and guidelines are meeting customer requirements.
- Assess Program requirements, functional designs, plans and schedules, and provide recommendations.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in related field (DoD Contract/US Military Service)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security Plus and Computing Environment Certifications for Windows
- Experience providing high-level presentations and white papers for system engineering reviews, product development, analysis, and validation and verification of engineering solutions
- Highly proficient interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Holds or able to obtain a minimum DOD Secret security clearance.
- Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Domestic and International travel to Military Installations in support of JLCCTC Program activities is required.
