We are seeking experienced Compounders for the Flavors & Fragrances Division Located in Norwood, NJ.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in day-to-day blending, mixing, and preparing batches by written specifications/procedures to ensure maximum output at optimum efficiency and comply with government regulations, cGMP practices, company policies, and customer specifications.
- Prepare and process batches by established specifications and procedures. This includes: Cleaning and sanitizing all required chemical processing equipment, pipes, pumps, and tanks—staging and transferring chemical raw materials, preparing and operating chemical compounding equipment, and transferring batches.
- Follow written procedures to ensure that all documentation, records, and logbooks are accurately completed and in accordance with GMP.
- Maintain a working knowledge of compliance with hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Operate forklift according to safe operating rules at all times.
- Operate and troubleshoot chemical processing equipment such as mixers, pumps, and scales—request equipment maintenance as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Compounder.
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be flexible in dealing with others in the organization and with work assignments/projects.
- Self-organized, Self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Using hands and arms together to move various items.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Able to lift to 50 lbs.
