Phoenix Manufacturing is looking for a Shipper at our Glasgow, Missouri manufacturing facility. This position reports to the production lead and is responsible for the loading, unloading, proper count and verification of all incoming/outgoing shipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for the proper count and verification of all incoming and outgoing product loads
- Prepare finished product for shipping by packing, staging, crating and loading
- Safely operate forklift to load and unload product on a variety of different trailers
- Monitor product being shipped for quality
- Notify a supervisor/manager if there are issues with overages/shortages or quality products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure working environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 years’ forklift operating experience
- Ability to use basic mathematics and measurements.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
