To create AI voice agents that can truly match human performance, we need 99.999% reliability. We’ve achieved this by building fine-tuned LLMs, real-time monitoring, Zapier-like automation, and robust infrastructure that can scale instantly.

We are scaling quickly—our company grew 22% week over week in YC, finishing in the top 5% of companies by revenue in our batch, closed a seed round, and haven’t stopped growing. We are now looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join us in San Francisco (or willing to relocate) and help our customers scale to millions of calls.

What You Will Do

• Work Directly with Customers\ Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and build tailored integrations that deliver real business value.
• Design and Deploy Scalable AI Workflows\ Build AI-driven conversation flows that power tens of thousands of conversations
• Build and Launch Workflows in Phonely\ Configure, test, and deploy customer workflows using the Phonely platform, getting clients live quickly and successfully.
• Monitor and Improve Workflow Performance\ Analyze live usage data to identify drop-off points or customer confusion, then iterate to improve AI flow performance and user experience.
• Integrate AI with External Systems\ Read and interpret API documentation to connect third-party tools and data sources with Phonely, enabling more intelligent and context-aware automation.
• Client Training and Enablement\ Work closely with customers to demonstrate platform capabilities, deliver training, and empower them to manage and scale their own workflows.
• Support Engineering Through QA and Feedback\ Perform quality assurance on new features, raise issues and customer feedback with the Engineering team, and help shape product direction based on real-world use cases.
• Influence Product Direction\ Bring frontline insights back to the team to help guide the roadmap, improve platform usability, and evolve feature sets in ways that serve real customer needs.
