Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with a wide range of orthopedic injuries and post-surgical conditions. You will utilize your knowledge, clinical expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to utilize our state-of-the-art aquatic therapy program to enhance the healing process and improve outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.

Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient-specific goals.

Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion.

Utilize aquatic therapy techniques and equipment to facilitate healing and enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and home exercise programs to promote self-management and long-term recovery.

Monitor and document patients' progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.

Collaborate with referring physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and optimal patient care.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy, evidence-based practices, and clinical research.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program and possession of a valid state license.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy (preferred).

Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various orthopedic conditions and injuries.

Proficiency in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Strong manual therapy skills, including joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, and therapeutic exercises.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, collaborate with colleagues, and educate patients about their condition.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.

Knowledge of insurance guidelines, documentation requirements, and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
