The hospital also serves patients with many other needs. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College.

Responsibilities
- Direct clinical care to underserved patients
- Teaching position where day is split between direct patient care and precepting housestaff of faculty
- Choice of three different schdules depending on hospital needs
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
