What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Coordinator position at Physicians Mutual?
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative and technical support for the Senior Vice-President- Corporate Services and Human Resources staff. Provides customer service to internal and external customers face-to-face and on the telephone. The Coordinator is the system administrator for the applicant tracking system; uses the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to input payroll screens, verifies and processes new hire paperwork using appropriate vendors. Transmits Company-wide communication, assists with Human Resources programs and completes special projects.
Education and Experience
• Associates' Degree in Business or Human Resources to include coursework or training in software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visual, Access, ADP, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Approximately 2-4 years of previous office experience in a public contact position in Human Resources or office setting.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills required.
Job Qualifications
• Working knowledge of the guidelines and criteria of Human Resources to include Benefits, Recruiting, Organizational Development, and Payroll.
• Knowledge of Company structure; including Board of Directors, Officers and Managers.
• Excellent PC skills along with advanced knowledge of MS Word and ADP; basic knowledge of Excel, Visual, Access, Applicant Tracking System required.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all Human Resources information.
• Ability to remain poised while dealing with calls or situations to/from various personnel.
• Excellent phone skills, phone voice and good grammar.
• Knowledge and familiarity with the Internet and its capabilities.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete work assignments while dealing with constant interruptions.
• Ability to type 45-50 words per minute preferred
• Basic math skills.
