JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the COO, this position provides administrative support to the COO and other senior level staff (Chief Physician Executive). Executive Assistant responsibilities include task coordination and business support for the executive leaders of PATHlink, LLC, its affiliates, and its clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Provides routine office and clerical support to staff for PATHlink Executives, including but not limited to:
- Answering phones, processing mail, typing, data entry, filing, copying/faxing documents, etc. per request,
- Task Coordinator, Meeting Scheduling, Agenda Planning, and taking minutes with written report generation,
- Maintain and Coordinate Executive calendars for meetings, phone calls, and appointments.
- Develops detailed project plans to monitor and track progress and escalate delays.
- Assist in monitoring PATHlink’s contractual and quality metrics for clients.
- Assist with monthly reconciliation of invoices, expense reports and payroll.
- Maintain employee files for Orientation, OPPEs, Training and Competency. Work with Medical Directors to ensure timely submission.
- Coordinate pertinent educational programs and materials for pathologists.
- Assist with research to identify and qualify new business leads.
- Develop marketing material and maintain schedule for follow up.
- Update PATHlink’s website as needed.
- Work collaboratively with medical and clinical staff, Hospital administration, Laboratory and Pathology personnel and PATHlink to implement policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and generation of reports and marketing presentations.
- Assist in the development and use of PI monitoring tools for the practices and monitoring of PI results.
- Work with COO and Medical Directors in preparation for regulatory review of the Department as requested/needed.
- Produce and distribute correspondence, policies & procedures, meeting minutes, memos, letters and forms.
- Maintain computer and manual filing systems.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality in areas of patient, employee, and physician relations.
REQUIREMENTS

- Healthcare experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of medical coding and CPT-4, HCPCS II and ICD-9-CM.
EDUCATION
- A high school diploma or GED is required, however, an associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Two years of Executive Office experience preferred; Specifically in a laboratory or pathology environment.
