Responsibilities
- Perform clerical and clinical duties under the direction of a physician and or registered nurse
- Clerical duties may include scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, and maintaining medical records
- Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patient for examination, and administering medications as directed by physician
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous job experience in delivering exceptional customer service
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA or equivalent); Current or must be attained within three (3) months of hire
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous similar clinic experience
- Previous experience with EMR systems
- One year experience in physician's practice
