What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Aquatics position at Physique Swim School?
Aquatics director is responsible for all day-to-day pool operations, the overall planning, development, management and supervision of all aquatic programs of the site.

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

- Ensure safety in and around the pool area.
- Report toupper management and coordinate all programming, facility management between all site staff.
- Manage all aquatic staff and program schedules.
- Document all necessary reports including incident reports.
- Enforce compliance with all safety regulations among staff and patrons.
- Schedule lessons, programs and events for the swim/ day camp program.
- Train and supervise aquatics staff, including lifeguards and maintenance.
- Will oversee the entire operation during the weekdays and report tomanagement.
- Adhere to all health protocols.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Certified in CPR, AED, First Aide
- Valid WSI and lifeguard certification from a recognized organization
- Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy, physical education or related field.
- Knows and performs proper emergency procedures
- 3 years related experience as an aquatics director or supervisor
- Completion of aquatics training certifications or equivalent:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard and/or equivalent
- American Red Cross Instructor
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer
- Certified Pool Operator
- Previous experience as a aquatics camp director, lifeguard or swim instructor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to positively interact with fellow staff, students, and customers.
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
