Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm is seeking an Internal Audit Consultant in their New York, NY location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct the examination and evaluation of the Firm information technology infrastructure, applications, data use and management, policies, procedures and operational processes against recognized standards or established policies
- Cultivate a deep knowledge of IT Audit programs, industry trends, and regulatory expectations
- Coordinate audit vendors requests by not only communicating with our colleagues but also taking the initiative by helping colleagues on items they don’t have time to give immediate attention to
- Create regulatory track records
- Work with IT to manage vendor fee in the lower end of budget by closely monitoring the hours actual to budget
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Over 3 years of experience in IT audit services
- CISA certification is a plus
- The ability to operate basic computer functions is essential
- Extensive knowledge of the business policies, procedures and operation of the company
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills (both written and oral) and presentation skills that help facilitate interactions with business partners
