We are seeking two experienced and dynamic General Managers to oversee the operations of our hotel properties. These roles are distinct:
- One General Manager will be responsible for the daily management of one hotel.
- The second General Manager will oversee operations across two smaller hotels within the same region.
Both General Managers will be strategic leaders, tasked with delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth and efficient operations across key departments such as front desk, concierge, valet, housekeeping, and maintenance. These individuals will be accountable for managing financial performance, fostering employee growth, maintaining brand standards, and driving customer satisfaction, all while being proactive in community engagement and brand promotion.

While the General Managers’ primary focus will be on hotel operations, close collaboration with other departments—such as Food and Beverage Sales and Marketing—is essential to ensure a seamless and cohesive guest experience. A broad understanding of these operations and the ability to work cross-functionally is highly valued and will contribute significantly to the overall success of the properties and their associated amenities.
Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in hotel operations and guest services, including at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Experience managing hotel departments, particularly front desk, concierge, valet, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Proven track record in sales, customer service, and operational management.
Preferred Experience:
- 8 years of senior management experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Demonstrated success in leading operational and guest service excellence.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy Development & Execution:
- Stay current with industry trends and assess competitors to explore new business opportunities that enhance profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and execute business plans that align with ownership’s vision and goals.
- Evaluate the success of business strategies to inform future improvements.
Guest & Customer Relations Management:
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by overseeing front desk, concierge, and valet operations, and resolving guest concerns in a timely manner.
- Foster strong relationships with local businesses, officials, and customers to enhance the hotel’s presence in the community.
- Collect and act on guest feedback to continuously improve service.
Talent Management & Leadership Development:
- Lead and develop a high-performing management team, offering coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive, open environment that promotes employee engagement, collaboration, and excellence across departments.
- Ensure all staff meet operational standards and contribute to a cohesive team culture.
Revenue Management & Financial Performance:
- Collaborate with revenue management and sales teams to optimize pricing strategies and initiatives to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Oversee budgeting and expense control across all departments, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Use market data and analytics to drive pricing and promotional decisions.
Property Operations Management:
- Oversee front desk, concierge, valet, housekeeping, and maintenance departments to ensure exceptional service and operational consistency.
- Conduct regular property walk-throughs to ensure the property meets or exceeds guest expectations and complies with brand standards.
- Enforce safety, legal, and brand compliance policies.
Owner Relations & Communication:
- Maintain proactive and transparent communication with property owners, providing performance updates and guest experience reports.
- Present ideas for service and profitability enhancements to ownership.
Brand Champion:
- Uphold and advocate for the hotel brand, ensuring all operations align with brand standards and values.
- Lead by example, demonstrating outstanding work ethic and service to inspire the team to deliver the highest levels of service.
Community Engagement:
- Actively represent the hotel in the local community, building relationships with key stakeholders and identifying partnership opportunities.
- Participate in local events to maintain a strong brand presence and visibility.

Additional Information:
- The General Manager will not have direct responsibility for Food and Beverage operations but will work closely with the respective departments to ensure alignment with overall hotel operations.
- The GM will oversee front desk, concierge, valet, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel, ensuring a seamless guest experience across these areas.
- Travel between properties may be required for the GM overseeing two properties, so candidates must be flexible and capable of managing multiple locations effectively.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
