Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health Specialist located in Circleville, OH. The Environmental Health Specialist will be responsible for conducting inspections, investigations, and assessments related to environmental health and safety including food safety, water quality, and solid waste management. Daily tasks include ensuring environmental compliance, and report writing. The role also involves providing education and resources to the community on public health issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in Environmental Health
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to conduct fieldwork and on-site inspections
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field
- Registered Environmental Health Specialist certification or ability to obtain
