What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Nurse Practitioner position at Pickens Urgent Care LLC?
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Render reasonable and appropriate treatment in a courteous and professional manner to each patient.
- Timely complete all required medical records on each patient treated.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice or Women's Health. New graduates are welcome to apply, we will train.
- Urgent Care experience will be a plus.
- FNP License (Required)
- PA License (Required)
- Understanding of medical coding and billing (Preferred)
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA. (Required)
- Experience with EMR (Epic) preferred
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
